No. 1 of 405
Bram Ashler
The first man you buried. He remembers only your shovel.
“You had the shovel. I can still hear the shovel.”
You are the gravedigger of a small valley. The dead are climbing out of the graves you dug, and they walk up your own path toward the village gate. Stop them on the road.
iPhone now. The web later. Your gravedigger comes with you.
You have buried 405 people, and you remember them. The dead aren't evil. Most of them were buried wrong, or not mourned, or forgotten.
Every boss is someone you knew.

Further down the road. The name is carved when you reach it.
The gravedigger before you
He dug these rows first. He knows where you put them.
You don't swing a weapon. You stand at the edge of the yard and make the road work for you. The dead march from the open row to your gate. A boss comes every 5 waves.
Every one of the dead you put down leaves a gravestone where it fell. The stones block the road and slowly reshape the yard. It is never the same twice.
Pay gold to roll three carvings and keep one. Two alike merge into a deeper carving; the right three combine into a rarer one. A small casino in a graveyard.
You raise shades, ghostly copies of yourself, that hunt the dead closest to the gate. Talents in the Necromancy tree shape what they become.
Twenty waves each. Talents, gear and levels carry over between runs.
Each of you defends your own yard. The dead you have put down can be exhumed onto your neighbour's road. Watch their yard live. Climb the ranked ladder.
Make an account and link it to the game. Your gravedigger walks in with you: name, level, talents, gear, the chapters you've cleared and your Feud rating.
